Mid-poly, ultimate fidelity model of a Ukrainian MiG-29.
----------------------------
The Mikoyan MiG-29 - NATO reporting name "Fulcrum" - is a twin-engine jet fighter designed in the Soviet Union, developed as a rival to the U.S. F-16 program.
Originally built as an air superiority fighter, like the F-16, the MiG-29 later became a capable multirole aircraft capable of undertaking various air-to-surface missions. Also like the F-16, the MiG-29 has gone through extensive upgrade programs and been exported to numerous air forces across the world.
---------------------------
Shown here is a Ukrainian MiG-29 equipped with AGM-88 anti-radiation missiles - NATO air-to-surface missiles designed to home in on transmissions from surface-to-air radar systems. This is a very recent upgrade only to Ukrainian MiG-29s and at Metrea we have striven to represent this development as realistically as possible, complete with a LAU-118 adapter purpose-built for these MiGs, of which only a handful of pictures exist.
